Artist Hadley Rampton

Some time ago, I had the opportunity to photograph the lovely Hadley Rampton and her fearless companion, Abbey.  Hadley is an amazing artist and her personal strength and vision shine through in her paintings.  Check out her work at http://www.hadleyrampton.com/

Portland wedding

Just back from a gorgeous Portland wedding! We had beautiful weather, wonderful music and the bride and groom couldn't be better people.  More photos to come soon!  In the meantime, Renee and Tim, have a fabulous mini-moon!

Grandpa photographing a wedding in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

I found this wonderful photo of my grandpa, Joe Schiavone, photographing a wedding in Kalamazoo.  Check out that gorgeous camera and those shoes! My grandpa and dad were both photographers and I love that I share this with them.  Some of the most amazing times I have photographing are working with families who my dad or grandpa also photographed.  I have the honor of photograph a wedding this fall for a bride whose grandparents’ wedding was photographed by my grandpa and whose parents’ wedding was photographed by my dad.  I am thrilled to be the third generation photographing for this family!

More from Scotland...The Palace of Holyroodhouse

The Palace of Holyroodhouse, what a fantastic name!  We made it there after closing but the grounds are gorgeous and I have toured it before.  It's the Queen's official residence in Scotland and was originally a monastery.  http://www.royal.gov.uk/TheRoyalResidences/ThePalaceofHolyroodhouse/ThePalaceofHolyroodhouse.aspx

Old Town, Edinburgh

Back from Scotland! It was a wonderful visit! Lots of rainbows, flapjacks, music, friends and driving on the left side of the road.
I took a picture from this same spot years ago when I lived there but this time there were construction walls in the way. Thank goodness for my clever husband and his good balance...I got this shot from the top of his shoulders. Thanks Cortny!
